I am!! Double date tomorrow with a real good friend of mine... dinner at a sushi place.... movie... relaxing afterwards, maybe with the Summits or something...

Can't wait for tomorrow, especially after a rather long week!

Anyone else got plans around Spidey tomorrow? Imax?

I actually hadn't thought that much about it (been busy, ya know), but I really loved the first two movies. I've seen a few of the trailers, though, and it certainly looks interesting. I'll be very curious about you thoughts on the movie.

I'm more excited about that sushi! Have some eel for me!

Who's got 2 thumbs and is excited about it? THIS GUY!

Don't have specific plans to see it...but it'll happen sometime this weekend...especially with the dismal weather we're having.

I mean, SOMEONE's gotta help cover the reported half billion it took to make it, right? :D

Joey, this will be a HUGE hit... everyone says it's the best of the three. I'd like to hear from someone who catches it at an IMAX theater... I didn't see if we going to be released on both screens... schweeet

Theater was packed.... the place was nuts! People were chanting... it was hilarious!

I thought it was a very fun movie... you gotta suspend reality for 2 hours and just enjoy it for what it is - good entertainment!!

Many of the fight scenes are crazy and well-choreographed! So much so that I caught myself with my jaw down several times.

Nice movie and a nice night out in Chicago!

Enjoy this movie, guys, it's a good one!

There you are, Joey! (Foot tapping, looking at watch.) Do you know what time it is? :D

I figured I'd check in before I hit the sack (its 11:30 here on the left coast) and sure enough, there's Joey's micro-review. I was pretty sure you'd like it. I can hardly wait for it to come out on DVD so I can watch it! (As I'm sure I've mentioned before, Rose can't sit through movies anymore, so we have to wait until its available on DVD. That's why we've got a DVD library of over 1000 titles. )

Anyway, there's been a number of folks that have said that SM3 is the best of the series so far. Do you agree with that, Joey?

(And by the way, isn't suspending reality is a requirement for this kind of movie? ;) )

You make me smile, Ken!

Regarding the movie, I thought it was better than the other 2. Definitely one of my fave comic movies!

Joey

I'm a huge Spiderman fan too. Took a day off work to see the first one! Just AWESOME!

Going to see S3 today with some friends.

Spiderman and Fantastic 4 have been my favorite comic movies so far, followed by Xmen. I SO wanted to be Johnny Storm when I was little.. "Flame on!" <--no jokes please! LOL

LOL. You are hilarious, Tom. I'm with you, though. I was always a huge Spidey and FF4 fan. Can't wait to see the movie.

Im not a big Spidey fan....but I love sushi! One of my roommates is a sushi chef and I go there often....mmmm nothin like good sushi!

How was the sushi? :D

Disco,

Sushi was great and the movie was great!

Overall, 2 greats = GREAT!

Nice night out... not too cold, kinda warmish/chilly night... the city was beautiful as ever. Nice night out to town! Thoroughly enjoyed it!

My spidey sense kept bugging me that they didn't include any spidey sense in the entire movie. One guy in the group was a comic nut and was seemingly offended by the storyline. I thought it was really entertaining, though I kept picturing Venom with Red's foot in his ass and he didn't seem so intimidating.

I liked it when Foreman said.... "WHAT THE HELL!?!"
