Got in line at 7am today at my local Sprint store (along with about 45+ others), to buy a Palm Pre. Fortunately they had enough stock, so I got mine, plus the (last) Touchstone charger. Spent about 2 hrs setting it up so far, and overall, looks like a keeper. I've got Pandora running, and am betting somebody will eventually write an App to use the WiFi as a Squeezebox Controller. Anybody else get one?

I'm using a Samsung Omnia i910 running Windows Moble 6.1 Professional. I just love the intergration with Windows and planty of 3rd party apps you can install to further custom your smart phone.

I'm GSM but will go to a Sprint store just to take a look at the Pre. I'm a palm fan, have a 680 and a cloned backup just in case.
Bought a windows mobile 6.1 Tilt half a year ago. Smashed it to bits out of sheer frustration.
Gives us a review when you can.

... Give us a review when you can.

I won't bother with a detailed review, as there are already plenty out there! From my perspective, after 1-1/2 days, I'd give it a "B+", but think it has the potential to become an "A" student :D. The Pandora app is really sweet, and once the software development kit is released, I expect more slick apps will be forthcoming. The battery life, and overall PIM functions leave something to be desired, but the screen, multitasking, and new WebOS (in general) are impressive. Hopefully Palm will address the shortcomings of this 1.0 product with some quick firmware updates.

Very cool looking phone. Does it have a JVM (Java Virtual Machine) installed out of the box? If so, that'll open it up to a pretty big market of apps.
