adding more bass to certain Squeezebox songs??? Possible?

I own the Squeezebox + a receiver and the nice remote controller...
I sync my SB with Apple itunes, and I know on itunes you can apply some sort of eq to whatever songs you choose... obviously these settings do not carry over into the SB software... My question: is it possible (via a plug in ?) to add some more low end to certain (older) recordings? I used to have the Audio COntrol "Phase coupled activator" in my system when I still had my old sub. This unit was able to "restore" some of the low end that was lost in alot of recordings by halving the bass frequencies and restoring the subharmonics (or something like that !). I am no longer using this unit with my current subs (2 fathoms)I would like to be able to add some extra low end ..

any ideas???

Some sort of tone control or parametric EQ on the SB would be great, but for now, there is Inguz. Try it out - it takes a lot of processing power though and may or may not suit your needs.

thanks - as far as you know is it a global eq control or can it be just for certain songs you choose???
