I took the plunge and bypassed the crossover in my Quest Zs. I used my minidsp SHD as crossovers.
Wow, the difference is huge -- dynamics is really enhanced and made the sound more impactful and immersive. Not going back!
Now I am going to do the same to my ESLs. Hopefully getting the same...
