I can get the Vantage within $100 of the EM, thats why it's such a hard choice but it's about 5 years old. I don't know if age is an issue with electrostatic speakers. I've never heard the Vantage in action but EM sounded pretty good at Best Buy running off the Pioneer Elite 32 (VSX-1120).

I'm also debating which to get: the Vantage or ElectroMotion. If they were the same price or within $100, which is better value. Most of the used Vantage are around 5 years old, is age an issue with the Vantage vs newly made ElectroMotion? Does the built-in amp in the Vantage make it wear out...

I purchased the Source recently and thinking about upgrading to either the new ElectroMotion or the Vantage. The Vantage cost more than the EM. What do you guys think has a better audio quality? I'm leaning toward the Vantage after reading all the reviews. Not many reviews on the EM. Thank...

To me it's obvious that the Newer panel of the EM sounds better (super transparent, vocal is clearer) but wondering if it's worth 2x the price of the source. I guess I'll have to decide on that one. Too bad not many reviews of the new EM yet and if I wait, The source will be gone at that price.:(

I was amazed by the ML speakers after a quick listen at BB. I listened to the new EletroMotion and the Source. The EletroMotion seems to have betters highs and clearer vocal... BUT the Source is on clearance at half the price vs the new EletroMotion. The Source still better than the other box...
