I have an encore that I'm using as a center and it works well enough. For the cost you really can't go wrong with the encore as a center. For rear surrounds though I still prefer in-ceiling speakers at least for movies/TV.

Actually no. All I'm saying is that dollar for dollar you an do better for less. Take something like the Energy Take 5 system. Its very similar sized, looks as good or better then the Bose system and is far cheaper plus its freq response actually covers the whole spectrum.

Now that's just silly. You can use MP3 or AAC (both lossy and lossless). I use a mix of AAC lossless for critical music and high bit rate MP3 for background noise (ie pop etc)

I use a Roku and AppleTv to stream my ripped music and can't see myself going back to CD again.

Also why use a helio 20 for front Left and Right when the 10's would seem to be a better option being a single voice coil
