Tuner Magnum Dynalab MD-101 T vs Fanfare FT-1A

What about all of the commercials on FM? Since getting Sirius satellite radio for the car, I don't listen to regular FM. I think there are some sat radios with digital out so you can connect a DAC. That could be an option. Torry

    Household wiring question

I HIGHLY recommend getting an electrician or a qualified person ASAP to install a panel box with multiple small breakers feeding those outlet circuits, and take care of any other loose ends/rat's nests you might have. Panel box and breakers are relatively cheap. Again, you could have an...

    Household wiring question

Need more info It is not clear to me what wiring setup you have there. I can see only having a 100 amp MAIN breaker, which should feed many (10-20) smaller circuit breakers of 15-20 amps each. This would be normal, and I think houses built in the 60s and 70s might only have a 100 amp main...

    SACD question

I recently picked up a 5 disc Sony SCD-C333ES SACD player for a steal. I am favorably impressed with the sound. Starting a collection of SACDs now. I know most of he older music is remixed using DSD from the master tapes; so would this explain hearing things differently than on the CD? I...

    MartinLogan officially on Amazon.com

They also are selling the Passage and Voyage from the ESL line too. The Voyage sure is expensive. For that money, I would rather have an electrostat! Torry V.

Ticket vs Script i for HT rears

With no disrespect for the Ticket or their owners, I'd go with the Script i. 1) You would be getting e-stats that will match well sonically with the Sequels or Aerius. 2) Somebody else took the depreciation on the Script i, and they probably won't depreciate much more. 3) The Scripts were on...

    BestOfAudio.com?

I just wonder how/where this company gets their Martin Logan stuff (if they really have it). I suspect this company has connections with authorized dealers to buy from them (authorized dealers) at slightly above their (authorized dealers) cost. I say this because only authorized dealers can...

    Crumpled/wavy stat panel help

If your metal plates are severely dented or worse, creased, in multiple places, you probably need to replace them. If you have some minor dents you can try to push them out with the palm of your hand from the rear. If the front panel does not push out, try to thread a piece of fishing line...
