    System #102 (Aerius i)

Mike Rhodes Muncie, IN USA Aerius I I tried to “stitch” together this photo so you could see how I’ve used the room with the Logans. Didn’t do a very good job with the photo, but you get the picture. I have wanted to post my system for some time. The logans were purchased new in 2000...

Larry King Show on CNN and ML panel

Every time I see the Larry King show on CNN, they run a graphic which looks sooooooo much like a ML speaker. They are intending to show a close up of a microphone, but it looks like a ML panel. The graphic is almost identical to a close up of a ML panel. :)

    Stator Breakin procedure???

I don't remember why, but I think I remember running an AVIA disc with the full pink noise on repeat at moderate volume for a few days when I first got my speakers.

    Is Sacd Dead ??

I have wondered the same thing about DTS. Really like DTS soundtracks, and it doesn't seem as though many movies on DVD are coming through with the DTS tracks included these days.

    Live Recordings - Your Favorites

I think the live 10,000 Maniacs disc sounds very good on my system.

subs at the rear of ht... bad idea???

A number of years ago when we moved into this house I moved my sub to the rear of the room and stuck it in my fireplace. I still like the way that works to this day and have not moved it since. I have a page that goes over it...the nav links are on the very bottom of the page. Subwoofer in...

Just got back from St. Maarten. ML's sound good now.

Sent you email. I didn't get to see the nude beach. Now playing an atmospheric CD of ocean waves. Tough to be home now without the ocean right outside.

Just got back from St. Maarten. ML's sound good now.

Still beautiful. People can't drive there very well, that's for sure! Ventured out one day in a rental and saw numerous wrecks happen in front of my eyes. Scooters are a menace.

Just got back from St. Maarten. ML's sound good now.

Left them unplugged for a week, so the vaccuming job upon returning was a good one. Here's a nice shot for your enjoyment.

Vaccuming panels. How much power is too much?

It may have to exist on another server, or your website or something. If you don't have a place to put it I can host it on my server if you email the file to me. (click on the photo icon on the left to get the email area.)

Vaccuming panels. How much power is too much?

I believe you are supposed to unplug them and leave them for a while. I just now finished doing mine after leaving them unplugged for about 5 hours.

Shine some lights through those bad boys.

I often see photos of the logans in a room and they typically look like dark tall sculptures. Just adding a small can light behind them can really "open them up" so your buddies etc can then see how cool it is to be able to see through the speakers. Cheap mod. Very effective. Nice look through...

Vaccuming panels. How much power is too much?

Getting ready to leave on vacation so I'll leave them unplugged for a week and then try the shopvac approach. I've used the regular vac over time, but I am thinking I need something stronger to clean the panels as the Polk center channel I use is "faster" than the panels and that's just not...

Vaccuming panels. How much power is too much?

Given three types of vacuums...are any of these too much to use in cleaning panels? I would rather not wash them, way scarey for me. 1. Regular rug vac with the nozzle attachment. 2. Higher powered Shop Vac. 3. Pretty strong vac at the car wash type places. I keep hearing it is hard to...
