You are going after an all ML set up, so the speakers should sound good together in a movie, music, or multichannel music set up. If you were blending different kinds of speakers from different manufacturers together, that can be a challenge. It you watch movies more than you listen to music...

Yes. I was implying using a tube pre amp or maybe a tube amp on the panels and a ss amp on the woofers.

I use some of their interconnects and I plan on getting some kimber speaker cables too. A ways back dtb300 ran a number of cables through my system and we both thought the kimbers did exceptionally well.

I suppose there are many advantages to bi-amping. Some like to actively bi-amp because they can set the crossover at whatever they want and they have more control over where and how the signal is divided up. Another advantage is that you are allieviating the amplifier from having to power both...
