    please advice on upgrade!?

Welcome to hifi updrade-itis and welcome to MLO! You'll find plenty of opinions here :) The anthem amps get solid reviews. The A5 is also rated for 2 Ohm operation. IMO, if you feel the need for upgrading, I'd say that would be a nice way to start. Cheers

    System #439 (Motion 12)

When I first started my career in semis, I worked at a bench using a frequency generator that used nixies for a readout. This was in '82... Gawd that seems like 14 lifetimes ago :)

What Are You Listening To Right Now?

I did see her (her, right?) briefly during some Jubilee coverage. That's quite a party going on in jolly old London town. I also so a brief clip of Sir Elton... he's getting and sounding old. (but ever the icon as always)

How Great is the Sanders Magtech?

HI Bob, Thanks for further illuminating the shootout! All those ricochets, diving behind the horse trough, bellying up to the saloon bar... all good stuff  The LSA must favor the mids for it to seem to push the music out into the room further than the Magtechs (my guess). And I agree...

    System #437 (Vista)

I somehow missed this thread. Dan - your system looks terrific with those Vistas flanking your gear! I'm glad the LS100 has found a good home with you - and let me add for everyone's information that Dan was just great during our transaction. I would not hesitate to do business with him again...

How Great is the Sanders Magtech?

Hey Pete - Sounds like a blast... though I would recommend renting an additional fridge for the weekend for all that beer ;) Getting away this summer on weekends will be a challenge as the wife and I have made a pact to get in as much lake time as possible... but that leaves fall as a higher...

How Great is the Sanders Magtech?

Hi Angela (and Roger) Well in that case I'm glad I kept the expletives to a minimum  And I meant every word. Roger has hit a homerun with this design - truly remarkable! Cheers :)

How Great is the Sanders Magtech?

Thanks Pete for sharing the highlights with us! So did the other cowboys at the shootout agree with your findings? Also, have you found a pair of Prodigies to purchase? Or maybe borrow Necro-dad's (when he's away on holiday of course - he'll never know you took them) so you'll be comparing...

    First speaker audiogasm experience?

I'm gonna take back what I said in the other thread on this topic. The big Maggie's were my second 'gasm. First was a pair of massive floor2ceiling horns and custom amps built by my brother's then roommate back in the mid 70s. It was the first time I ever saw an O'scope as well (the guy had...

Hmmmm, well, i was about twelve I guess and Becky Jenson came over to play "Doctor and Nurse" and it came time to check for a hernia and.... oh!.... wait.... AUDIOgasm you said, right? my bad! in that case, Maggie Tympani ID back in early 80s. (this is a good thread topic and likely spans far...

    First time ML experience

The first time my father-in-law saw/heard the CLX's, I played for him an acapella version of Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus. He teared up (I damn near did as well).
