I suppose there's no harm in trying Dirac - if it sounds worse, you can disengage it easily. I'd be interested in your experience because NAD are signed up to Dirac, although my particular units are not Dirac-enabled. Whether this will be possible with future firmware updates I don't know...

Another Class A amp with seemingly far less power than is needed for electrostatics is the beautifully-built Accuphase A-36. Only 30 watts at 8 ohms but 120 at 2 ohms or 150 into 1 ohm and plenty powerful enough.
