i am using spiked now, with rear spikes loosen to its first or second thread for forward inclining the Montis towards listening position.. i found the music more focused and direct with wider soundstage .

instead of PVA4, went for a used Rotel RMB-1075 125w all channel - 5 channel amplifier for powering the SBR and T-Middle height speakers. Anthem AVM60 Processor is arriving to replace the SR7009.

Upgrading from Primaluna Prologue premium preamp to Dialogue Premium preamp which will match the Anthem A5 input impedance perfectly without compromise. Also, will swap the Marantz SR7009 with Anthem AVM60 processor and PVA4 power amp.

They still love me and so was the reason i have not changed my name yet :) Otherwise, my name would be "Scheherazade" , if you can pronounce.

I auditioned the Anthem A5 and the next level P2 with same setup and didn't hear any difference . The sonic signature was neutral and the P2 didn't added any flavour . Also, the A5 and A2 internal design are using the same concept, therefore it may not make any difference.

Thanks Guys, i used the spikes with incline in the front and placed on carpet :) It did makes difference.

I just switched to spikes and can hear bit better imaging and tighter bass. I am not how it will impact putting a 400mmx400mm tile underneath. Will try it tomorrow .

Can someone explain if there is any added benefit to use spikes on carpet floor by swapping the stock rubber standoff ?

Agree, i have asked the question to martin logan , who redirected to Australian distributor to answer. They told that it will be better to crossover at 40hz and take it from there. Running the Montis full range for movies will wear and tear the sub quicker.

Thanks Roberto, my dealer have shared similar thoughts as well. He preferred to run the Montis full range and cut over the StageX at 80hz. Also the EM-FX2 surrounds goes down to 55hz and advised me to cut over at 60hz. This way, the Paradigm Sub-15 have to work less harder and it can more focus...

I am thinking the same. Their Premium and Dialogue integrated are A rated product in stereophile, i assume i will not be wrong matching the amp with the pre-amp.
