lugano, have you ever tested a TNT? I have a Rega Planar 3 with a Grado Sonata cart...I do get a little hum when the LP is almost finished at middle volume. It's the magnet in the spinner motor under the TT that is causing it. What I may need is a diferent cart because a Grado is unprotected...

rampage, I bought some cable lifters mostly to separate from the power cords. Also based on a audio theory: high end stereo needs everything separated. Do I hear a difference, not really, the mono amps and separated panel and bass speaker cables did 99 % of the improvements
