However, agree with Floyd Toole on the fact that manufacturers do not provide adequate spec. information on their products. As he said, car tires have more information on them then a typical audio component.

Roberto, Floyd Toole has a very good reputation. But it seems that he is not very knowledgeable about ESL. Everything that I have read about ESL always talks about speed, accuracy, and very low mass membranes as outstanding/unique qualities. He completely dismisses this. Strange.

Floyd Toole also makes the comment that electrostats aren't fast, low mass, and accurate. I thought that it was pretty much beyond dispute that stats are low mass compared to cones. Also, it has always been known that the sweet spot for ESLs is small. It's something we learn to live with. So...

I do agree. Bought a pair of Montis from DaVinci a few years ago and then upgraded to Expression 13a last July. Had a very good experience. Recommended.

Roberto, Thank you! I will give it a try today. It was also suggested that I give more time for the speakers to break-in. I think I'll wait a month and see if there is improvement. If not, I'll call Martin Logan.
