I've got a Hegel H590 integrated amp. The Hegel DAC is pretty good. Maybe the Cambridge Audio CXN will be better. But I'm really just looking for the convenience of being able to run Tidal from my phone and not my wife's laptop!

I think I'll just buy the Cambridge Audio CXN v2 streamer. It's $1000 and has a DAC that I don't need but it has gotten good reviews.

Yes. The DAC in the integrated amp does the full MQA unfolding. MQA is quite controversial though.

I found a Stereophile impedance measurement of the Montis. Link is here: https://www.stereophile.com/content/martinlogan-montis-loudspeaker-measurements It does indeed show a big rise in impedance around 800 - 1000 Hz.

Results look good and are very interesting. ML's spec. sheet itself says 0.7 ohm @ 20KHz so that corresponds with what you see. Interesting about the jump in impededance between 800 Hz and 1KHz. from 3.6 ohm to 10. ohm. Some sort of resonance?

If unplugging doesn't work, then I suggest calling Martin Logan. The blue LED light stopped working entirely on one of my Montis speakers. I called them and they sent me a replacement LED. Very good customer support.
