Anyone know about premium power cables that fit the AC to Dc

I bought the power conditioners used (they are no longer made) by checking hifishark. I paid about US$300 for each. The Furutech connectors are widely available. I bought mine from PartsConnexion for US$28 each.

Anyone know about premium power cables that fit the AC to Dc

I replaced the power cables to my SL3s with a dedicated Foundation Research LC1 power conditioner to each speaker, on the recommendation of Moon (the MLO member here, not the company). It made a big difference top to bottom. Note: it was not just a simple cable change. One thing the change...

Cables (oh no, not THIS topic!)

I bought a pair of the Ultras a few months ago. Frank explained that the lead time was so long as he was working with reduced staff because of the pandemic.

Cables (oh no, not THIS topic!)

I was astounded by an arrogant moron in a Facebook group, who said to me, “If you think you need to listen to cables, you know nothing about cables.”

Dave, I can safely say that as I’m older than even you! Merry Christmas, my young friend !

    speaker wire for summits?

I used Cardas Neutral Reference (6’ length) for a long time, then had to change to longer cables (18’) as I was moving stuff around. I was happy with the Cardas, but it’s no longer available; if it were, I would have had to pay silly-bugger money for it. In this Covid environment I could not...

    Upgrade for my VPI (tonearm/cartridge)

Do you have the dual pivot option on the arm? I have a JMW 10 (no dual pivot), and have never liked the sloppy feeling of the arm; the dual pivot supposedly makes it feel more stable.

    CLX: power cables

Agreed. In another group, when discussing speaker cables, an arrogant, uncivilized know-it-all (this group has at least one too) told me that if I think I have to listen to cables, then I know nothing about cables.

    Annoying Pilot Lights

I wonder how people put up with the blinding (bling) blue lights of their McIntosh amps.

    ARC Sold (again)

I hope they go back to the classic “laboratory equipment” aesthetics. I really hate the “vintage” look of the new styling.

The Sanctuary? I like that. Better than Man Cave. Sounds really great. I have had the pleasure of hearing Roberto play live.

    SL3 resurrection attempt

Jonathan, re your giggling (hard to imagine, lol!), on a recommendation from Moon (the MLO member, not the Reverend), I replaced the power cords on my SL 3s with two dedicated Foundation Research LC1 line conditioners, which resulted in a very noticeable improvement in sound. And yes, I do...

    Impression 11A - Piano Black

I used to think that way about my SL3s until I heard Roberto’s CLXes. But I’m still happy with my SL3s.

    Dayton OmniMic Measurement System

Dayton OmniMic measurement system, used for measurement of response curves of audio systems. I have only used it a couple of times, and have not investigated all of its capabilities. Plugs into a USB port of a PC. Software compatibility indicated in the second picture. The hardware includes a...

Help - sold 11A, buyer having issues

I suspect that in transport the panels slipped and got disconnected. He would have to take off the wood trim from the sides of the speakers and examine the connections. There may be a thread here with detailed information on how to proceed. I doubt the warranty is transferable.
