    Have no idea about that.

    panel trim sequel II

As TomDac mentioned, try vacuuming them first. If that doesn't fix the issue, try checking the connections to the panel as khenegar1 suggested. I have two suggestions... 1) I would open the back of the woofer enclosure to gain access to the power supply and crossovers. Any connections that are...

    Unable to figure this out.

Well, whether she likes halogen bulbs or not, that one in the pic is in fact a halogen bulb. It is essentially a bulb within a bulb, hence the glass envelope inside. The outer glass is only there to make it look like a normal incandescent bulb. What caused that bulb to "pop" was some sort of...

Looking at subwoofer brands other than ML

If I didn't already have the JL subs, I would have gone with Rhythmic because of their performance and price. SVS subs are great, but mainly just for movies. Except maybe the top couple of models, the rest of them are just too sluggish and heavy sounding for music. REL subs are great for both...

This remote option shouldn't even be a serious consideration. Sure, it may be convenient on initial setup and dialing in of the sub(s), but after that, you shouldn't have to ever touch the settings on your sub(s) again. Once they are positioned and dialed in, there's absolutely no reason why...

A pair of 22 year old SL3's and a lot of Schiit...

I did a few more things recently... Sold the Music Hall mmf-7.3 turntable and Schiit Mani to my oldest brother, drove 130 miles round trip to pick up an absolutely mint Emotiva XPA-2 Gen 2 amplifier, installed taller shelf poles and cross braces for my Vulcan rack to make room for that huge amp...

It's probably more like they don't want to fix it, but rather you buy a new unit from them. More profit for them that way. If your main goal is music, I would say Rhythmic Audio, JL Audio and REL. If mainly for movies, Rhythmic, JL or SVS.

That's quite understandable. No worries what so ever. And I know what you mean about not getting rid of old gear. Between my brothers and I, we could start up a used hifi shop with all of the gear we have laying around. LOL Haha... Maybe I should. I just describe what I hear in the best words...

    Compact Amp for Ethos

Or possibly a Hegel integrated. Those are supposed to be really good as well.

I am very happy with the iso200sub stands. They do a great job, and I have no doubt the GAIA footers would do an equally good job on SL3's, but I just can't justify the cost of them at $400 for two sets. Plus the fact they only come in sets of four, and I only need three. What would I do with...
