I wouldn't exactly consider adding a little bit of weather stripping as "rigging". It's a shame no one has invented see-through Dynomat for windows. LOL

I've been listening to this on Qobuz for the past hour or so (and last night). Extremely good I think. SQ is excellent as is the music. Very open, clear and airy, allowing the "space" of the venue to shine through. Highly recommended if you like Classical music.

I've heard both and the JL is clearly much cleaner, detailed, musical and dynamic than the ML. I would put the ML just a notch above SVS, IOW, more for moveis than music.

The C7 looks much better than the C8 in my opinion. Also my opinion, a mid-engine Corvette is just as wrong as an all electric crossover vehicle called Mustang.

Kind of funny you word it like I'm not a Martin Logan owner, or that I don't know what I'm talking about, but I am, and I do. BTW, I have my Martin Logan SL3's roughly 5 feet out into the room. Then pulled them out an additional 2" which made a huge improvement in depth and width. But hey...

Sorry to be blunt, but it would be a total waste of great speakers to not have them properly placed. Don't bother getting the CLX Art's or any panel speakers for that matter and just get some normal box speakers to cram up against the wall if that's all you're willing to do.

For similar money, I'd go with the JL Fathom f113v2. Subwoofers and bass reproduction is what JL is known for. Just my 2 cents.
