Brand new Masterpiece ESL 9 level difference in left right channel

Those are leaking electrolytic capacitors that have gone bad. If they weren't new I would suggest buying replacements and unsoldering the old and soldering in the new ones and it would probably fix the problem. However, being new units under warranty I would let them do the repairs.

Brand new Masterpiece ESL 9 level difference in left right channel

The Classic 9 does not have the electronics in a tray because there is no built in amp for the woofers like there is on the 13A or 11A. I wish it were designed like that. I have a pair of Classic 9s.

2021 new gen Apple tv 4k Dolby Atmos Problems

Mine does that too and I wasn't sure if it was because I am on a wireless setup using WISA receivers with amplifiers (wide range I am testing) or the AppleTV4K. Pops & clicks are before start of play and after play stops while drop outs occur during playback. Noticeable on browsing entries too...

Expression 13A, Source, Motion series Atmos tops and sides

I disagree with @JonFo as both Auro3D and now Atmos specify that the height speakers can be on the wall next to the ceiling in line with the main L&R speakers with a 30 degree down angle. The effect can be even more realistic. Another new technology that is spatial and called even more...

Ideal ML for 13X14X8 room size

You could also look at the ESL X and the Classic 9s. They are smaller and sound very good. Either would handle the room just fine. Even the ESL would be better than the Motion series speakers IMHO.

    Martin Logan 11a vs 13a

From a physics standpoint, it should be apparent that a larger panel has to move less to create the same sound level as it moves more air. The result should be greater dynamic range before reaching the limits of linear motion. On the other hand in a smaller room this level of sound pressure...

    Benchmark AHB2 Bridged Monoblocks -

I am using WISA 8 channels 24 bit 48 KHz or 96 KHz. This is a prototype of a product line I am developing using WISA. I am working with the companies (Summit Technologies and WISA). I have also made a prototype receiver that can be used with any amplifier, pictures below. I am doing a lot of...

    Benchmark AHB2 Bridged Monoblocks -

Unless you just have a lot of money you want to spend there are many alternative solutions and I suspect the differences would be inaudible if you didn't know which solution was being applied. I use DIY Hypex 250W mono blocks I built. The Hypex amp and the Purifi both rate at 105 db SINAD vs...

    Benchmark AHB2 Bridged Monoblocks -

Theater reference level is 85db at the console position with a peak level of 105db. If you are like most of us, you probably do not play your speakers at reference level, even when watching movies because 85db is quite loud in a home. To go from 85db to a peak of 105db means you need 20db of...

    summits/protection/bass amps?

I can't speak for @khenegar but I was trained as an electrician in my early days and later as an electronics technician and after that as an electrical engineer. Hence my warnings above. THE KEY IS TO MAKE SURE THE POWER IS OFF. If you are not comfortable doing this then by all means hire an...

    summits/protection/bass amps?

This is the one I purchased but there are lots of options. I selected it because my electrical panel is Square D and I have a 200A service. My memory failed me as it was $108. It includes a 5 year $50K home protection warranty. To install it, you have to shut off your main breaker (the big...

    summits/protection/bass amps?

I put one on my main power in to my home and the power company has one outside my home. For the power company you pay $10/mo. The one I installed was about $80 on Amazon.

2021 new gen Apple tv 4k Dolby Atmos Problems

No, I am not working directly with Apple. Until I can absolutely verify it is due to the ATV with ways for them to repeat my experience I don't bother because there are too many variables and that makes it easy for them to pass the blame to someone else in the chain. Once mine are playing it...

2021 new gen Apple tv 4k Dolby Atmos Problems

I get popping & clicking at the start of any playback but worse for Atmos or Spatial audio in that it lasts longer. I get the same when browsing movies or audio, especially on AplleTV+ movies as most are Atmos. And I get it when stopping playback. With AppleTV+ if I am watching a series and...

2021 new gen Apple tv 4k Dolby Atmos Problems

I'm on 1Gbs fiber and my Apple4K is on WiFi and seeing 500Mbs and All A's on that report. I don't think it is my connection.

2021 new gen Apple tv 4k Dolby Atmos Problems

In my case, I think it is due to firmware in my AVR (equivalent device) that is allowing the speaker amplifiers to unmute before the audio stream is fully established. I am working with the company to rectify and test this issue. It seems that the various streaming devices do generate some...

2021 new gen Apple tv 4k Dolby Atmos Problems

I have been having this issue too. Going mad trying to figure out the problem since I was testing every other part of my system. I am going to try my FireTV and Roku Ultra streamers and see if that clears up the problem.
