I have a couple of 15s for sale and here are my measures without any modification with a sub and without a sub. These measurement were made in my living room with REW and the UMIK-1 microphone showing 1/12 smoothing, not ⅓ smoothing. Maybe no Rez would help but the response is very flat.

Look at 8ohm vs 4 ohm power for each channel and for all channels driven. 4ohm should be double or near double the power. Also, see if they say it will handle a 2ohm load. The ML ESLs can go down as low as 1ohm at 20KHz. Some amplifiers can't handle even a short duration load that low...

Put a battery backup on it and problem solved. I put a UPS on all of my systems to avoid those types of problems.

One boards electrolytics may have failed and the other is on the verge of failure and the failed set could have been caused by a defective panel. Something is causing the electrolytics to fail but they appear to have leaked electrolyte that has now dried leaving a residue.
