    Double stack ML subs?

I ordered (from Shawn/Davinci) back in Feb, and just got it! Not sure how backordered they currently are. If Anthem ran out of the original AKM DAC chips, it could take some time for them to re-engineer for whatever they substitute with.

    Double stack ML subs?

ttocs... That's quite a sophisticated setup you cobbled together! I'm sure it sounds incredible! To start, I'll have a listen and run some measurements with ONE BF210 in the corner. However, due to the sub controls being on top, I can't "tweak" it once the other is stacked (hence will need to...

    Double stack ML subs?

I don't recall seeing this topic discussed here, though I've read about it elsewhere (e.g. Reference Line Arrays - REL Acoustics). For the past few years I've struggled to optimally integrate a pair of BF 210's (running as dual mono) with my Expression 13A's. Frankly, the 13A's, by themselves...

    System #55 (Expression 13A's)

I do plan on building a RasPi streamer down the road, when I have the time. However, I'm still very happy with my Squeezebox Touch (feeding my Bel Canto DAC) and still have a "new in box" Touch as a backup. It's amazing how the Logitech Music Server open-source community (along with Logitech's...

    System #700 (Renaissance ESL 15A)

Congrats to George for an incredible setup! He graciously demo'd his system the other day for myself and another local audiophile, and we were blown away! His former Summit X system (in his prior home) already sounded superb, but the 15A's in his new dedicated listening room take everything to...

    Tilt for m/l speakers

For those with the newer Impression or Expression models, who wish to experiment with rake angle, the Summit X adjustable legs are fully compatible. See thread... Summit X legs compatible with Renaissance, Expression, and Impression! However, I don't know if they are still available separately...

Discussion About the Differences Between Different Panel Sizes

I upgraded over the years from Aerius i's, to Summit's, to Expression 13A's. Aside from progressively deeper and better integrated bass, I found each step up in panel size widened my soundstage a bit. I can't definitively say the sound was fuller, at least in the sweet spot. In fact, I think...

    BalancedForce Demo

Another option might be a smartphone Vibration Measuring App. However, I don't know how accurate they are, and results might vary depending on phone model, OS, and specific app.

    BalancedForce Demo

I saw a post (on another Forum) mentioning a video of KEF's "Force Cancelling" driver technology... How Force Cancelling Driver Technology Eliminates Cabinet Vibrations I thought, hey, ML has been doing something similar for YEARS, firstly with their BalancedForce subs, and lately in their...

    Not a glowing report

Dipole electrostatic speakers typically measure poorly, vs. point source designs, in Harman's "Spinarama" measurements, which Floyd Toole championed. However, those of us who own them, feel their overall musicality and detail far outweighs their poorer off-axis measurements. Here's an excerpt...

Suncoast Audiophile Society hosting a Zoom meeting this Sunday with Muraudio

I suggest trying "extreme toe-in" where you rotate the speakers farther inward, so that the "flashlight test" reflection is in the outer 1/3 of the panel. Depending upon room geometry/acoustics, that can yield a wider sweet spot, and improved off-axis imaging. You might be surprised by the...

Suncoast Audiophile Society hosting a Zoom meeting this Sunday with Muraudio

Glad you enjoyed it! Perhaps you'll come down for the Florida Audio Expo next Feb. BTW, you've got a fantastic setup with your 15A's! It would be interesting to compare head-to-head with the SP-1's, but I'm sure the 15A's would come out on top (at least in the bass dept.). Not so sure if you...

Suncoast Audiophile Society hosting a Zoom conversation with Gayle Sanders/Eikon Audio

I'm only interested in bass correction/integration (<100 Hz) for my entire setup. Ever since getting my Expression 13A's, I've struggled to "dial-in" my two ML BF210 subs (to minimize the wide 50-60 Hz null at my main listening position). The 13A's, after running ARC Genesis, yield...

Suncoast Audiophile Society hosting a Zoom conversation with Gayle Sanders/Eikon Audio

No way! However, I'll try the Pre-Outs (with ARC enabled) feeding my C-J Premier 350 (vs. my C-J CT5 Pre). It's possible that having ARC fully integrate my subs with the mains could actually sound better. We'll see.
