I have on order a primaluna hp tube power amp suppose to be wonderful on summits. Ml uses them for demos some times!

Summit boards Take the back panel off that has the connectors dials 25/50 etc. I think there is 8 screws pull it out , but be careful there is wires attached so take pictures so u know where to put them back. Once there detached u can take the panel off. Good luck

It is really hard to believe that no one has tried the primaluna hp power amp that has been used by Martin Logan numerous times to demo there speakers! Plus its a reasonable priced tube amp!

Has any one tried the primaluna dialogue premium HP power amp wth there summit or summit x speakers? If so what did u think?

I have carpet , I have the summit x spokes so they go directly into the floor. Room size is 11'4" w, 23' L, 8' H. Thanks

Are u saying that U increased the the 25 and 50hz to,+4? And thanks for ur reply it's hard to believe that no one on this site ever used there 25 or 50hz controls!

How many of u use the 25 and 50 hz controls on ur summits and what was ur best method of determining what u thought was the best settings? This is new to me I have never used them always left them on the flat settings. Thanks

Tilt Well I got a different view on the reason for the rake but to each his own and what he likes! that's what makes this hobby so interesting and enjoyable. Thanks for your opinions

Rake That is not true u been listening to some of the forum members that feel that is the reason, u need to contact Martin Logan on the real reason for this rake! It doesn't make sense to design a speaker that is listenable while ur standing, have u ever read a review on the Martin logans that...

I have noticed even with m/l's newer models of speakers the 11, 13 that the stat panel tilts back as the earlier models did also and the larger 15, Neolith, CLX and other larger models are perpendicular to the floor? Can anyone please explain why this is? Thanks

Noticed in my manual of the summits that they recommend putting the subs behind them in the corners for the hometheater setup! How do U feel about this also for music?

Angle Gordon: that's kind of silly who listens to there system standing up. Why does m/l have them tilted back? do the the reviewers set them up perpendicular I've never seen it mentioned! to me they sound very bright maybe my ears are to sentive and Maybe my room is bad but with them tilted...

I now that most users prefer the perpendicular angle over the tilted back angle as shipped. I changed mine back to the standar angle from the perpendicular one! Could have been my room but everything was sounding to bright for me! Things have settled down and now sounding like live concert music...

Reberto: I do hear a click but the tooth pick doesn't do anything but tilt down when plus is touched then nothing when reversed! It really hard to tell with the grills on looking thru the perforations!

Roberto I Did as u instructed with the tooth pick and all it did was drop down did not come out or fall in

Reberto did as u suggested and I could not see the bass driver move in or out! I Had the speaker wires from the amp connected then. I then disconnected the speaker wires and tried a new battery , with this setup it only clicked once until I reversed the wire then it would click again still...

After reading the review on the new 15a in comparison to the prodigy, Since there is no earth shattering differences I think I would op to find myself a clean pair or prodigys and invest in some new panels. And save myself some big cash and not have to worry about the amps and so forth going...
