Roberto : martin Logan wants me to swap back plates ! What a pain, is there any other way I can check to see if it’s the amp board? Could I swap from the amp boards the bass driver connections and see if the front driver starts working? Thanks

I disconnected the woofer leads from the amp board checked it with a 1.5v battery and it checked ok

How can I check to see if the front bass driver is working in my summit? I get no sound out of it at all.

Well I just discovered that the front firing bass driver on the right summit is not working just the down firing woofer is working. The stat panel is working ok. Any suggestion on how I can check it out to see if it’s the amp/crossover or the bass driver it’s self? Thanks

Summit and Summit-x owners do u feel it is necessary to use sub woofers in order to fill out the bass duties of ur speakers? The summits specs say there good to 24hz plus or- 3db which I feel should be quite good. With no need for subs! This is for music only not movies!
