How incredibly odd. I watched The Adam Project a couple weeks ago and not only *didn't* have a problem, but I was also quite impressed with the sound quality. I hate this type of issue, where it works fine for some people and is unbearably bad for others.

I don't know how old those panels might be, but that's how mine aged on my oooooold Aerius speakers. I bought new panels for them from ML, and they sound great now...

I would also try swapping in a different (preferably known to be good) HDMI cable, and try different HDMI inputs too as SGG suggests above.

Thanks. When I first joined this thread I was also using a Marantz. I've had problems even with the new processor, but it's been much less prevalent under the current TvOS release. I think earlier in the thread we collectively thought it might be related specifically to Marantz / Denon AVRs...
