Renaissance ESL-15A full range or with Balanced Force 210 subs?

If I'm understanding your madness correctly (all in fun of course)...I'd suggest measuring all subs together versus one at a time. I'm no professional but I would think single sub measurements in a multiple sub setup would cause all kinds of phase issues?? Anyone chime in please!

Renaissance ESL-15A full range or with Balanced Force 210 subs?

If you don’t have the PBK from ML, you can use the mic that came with the receive. Connect it to your iPad or PC Laptop. What's cool is, once the measurements are taken, you can view graphs (like REW) and manually adjust as needed. You can also save multiple measurements (i.e. 2 channel...

Renaissance ESL-15A full range or with Balanced Force 210 subs?

WOW!!! Really nice flat response between 20-50Hz...a small suck out at 60Hz but still relatively flat. Bass should be sounding pretty sweet. Good work. I'm terrible at this :(. Wish someone could just come to the house and do it for me:eek:

Renaissance ESL-15A full range or with Balanced Force 210 subs?

oops yep you're correct....Audessey in the receiver. You may want to check out the Audessey MultEQ app...I loaded it onto my iPad (versus phone). It's like Audessey on steroids (compared to what's in our gear). Allows for a lot more fine tuning than what's in the receiver. I just don't want to...

Renaissance ESL-15A full range or with Balanced Force 210 subs?

Soooooooo is anyone using the Audessey MultEQ app? If so, PLEASE HELP me figure out who's on first. I have a Marantz receiver; which also has ARC (oops Audessey). 1. Am I using MultEQ to measure the 11A/1100X's? Therefore bypassing ARC in the subs? 2. Do I use MultEQ to measure the 11A/1100X...

    Just Wondering....

Not sure if you've tried this but try toeing them in a tad more and it may bring some brightness in and not affect your stage at all.

    My Babies are in!!!!

I wouldn't doubt it. The bass response out of the box is already pretty good but I can tell it needs dialing in. Luckily we don't need to worry about the stats with ARC.

    Just Wondering....

Completely understand RJ and as always your comments are transparent and meaningful. Appreciate the feedback. On the flip side, I did some quick reading and hope to one day get a chance to hear the Dartzeel. I'd imagine a $20,000 amp would sound a tad different than a $2,500 one. :p

    Just Wondering....

What's up sound peeps...looking for some feedback. As you know I just purchased the 11A's and so far I'm in love 😁...still breaking in. My system serves as a HT and 2 channel music listening. I equally enjoy both functions so there's no precedence. I've read most of the comments regarding...

    My Babies are in!!!!

Cool makes sense. "Just for break-in" I set them to "large/full-range" (in my receiver) to send more LFE to the 11A's versus the subs. They're roughly 50hrs in so I may give it another week or so before running ARC #1.

Did you run ARC before, during or after break-in?

Brand new Masterpiece ESL 9 level difference in left right channel

WAY TOO MUCH going on when compared to the money spent on these speakers. Fortunately I've always had great experiences with ML support (via email) so yours is a surprise. I'd definitely put ALL THE PRESSURE on the dealership. At this price point, anything short of getting a new pair of speakers...

New member and my first ML speakers

Welcome. You'll find some stuff in here. The 40i's sound great in the right space and good source material.

    "Trapped"

WOW! The 13A's...Nice! I came so close to getting the 13A's but had the same challenge of space (13' x 18'). I didn't want to be forced into near-field listening but coming from listening to the Aeon i's for 20 years, I was afraid the dual 8s in the 11A's weren't going to be much of a "bass"...

    "Trapped"

Yea I think at the end of the day, trust in the science but believe in your ears. My room is multi-purpose (HT / 2 channel music). I'll admit...I'm a bass head. Although my 11A's are brand new, I am totally satisfied with their bass in 2 channel and if I need more (depending on the recording)...

    "Trapped"

Mine are 4" GIK Impression traps with scatter plates. The plan is to give the 11A's more time to break-in and see what happens.

    "Trapped"

How long have you had your 11A's? What size is your room? Have you acoustically treated any other surfaces? You may be in the same boat as me...just give the 11A's a little more time to spread their wings before blaming the room for poor perfomance.
