    SACD Player Recomendations

Fiber itself does not guarantee anything, but your end. Netflix lowered the quality during Corona, all sort of other trafik on the net impacts actual speed, various gateways, etc. But in most cases the quality is there ( between good to excellent, but never to the level of BD). I have a...

    SACD Player Recomendations

The disk is always As in always better quality than streaming. Streaming will adopt to the actual internet speed and dynamically change the quality but never above the disk. Often the streaming available is lower not least the sound.

    SACD Player Recomendations

I'd say, being somewhere in between these ages, that I love putting a vinyl on and listen to one side, then walk over to the turntable flipping it or put another record on. Then again in other situations prepare a que streaming contents, and recently also just let the radio do the trick. All...

New Anthem processors and receivers debut!

Both. Start with the LS one by one, then end with the AV.

New Member, First time ML Owner

I thought Lexicon was Harman and the g class amps actually from Arcam (2011 they launched this in their AVR 600). At least for a while Lexicon was part of the Harman group.

Surprised when listening to my system

As close to the way it should sound. But how do anyone know the way it should sound? I had a session with one mastering films, and he really did not enjoy most cinemas as it never sounder close to what he mixed, mainly because the signatures of the speakers. So I guess the same issue with 2ch...

Cables (oh no, not THIS topic!)

I wonder what LS $34k more than he has would result in🙂 However, if you feel this is it why not? It's he money.

Cables (oh no, not THIS topic!)

If only 8 out of 10 test .... This would mean a small difference. So try doing this with the speakers - possible 10 out of 10. Point is where to spend the money. Treatment of the room, yes if possible (often not very possible). Moving the sub often possible with noticeable effect. And then back...

Cables (oh no, not THIS topic!)

Yah. I think we agree here as long you stay away from general electric cables with 1sq mm cord. I guess most goes for his preferred gear at the price point affordable to him, but too many dealers seems to persuade costumers to spend as much as 30% of the investment for cables (guess that's where...

Cables (oh no, not THIS topic!)

I have tried some different cables. And yes a difference - mainly for loudspeaker cables due to the square required to conduct the high current. And yes some cables not shielded picks up hum. Once you have enough square I do not hear much difference, actually none. I also heard that the...

Looking at subwoofer brands other than ML

Well no ML or other brands can make up for such loss. Only destiny can change the game. So you're in luck, well you have surely worked for it so to speak. So off to enjoy I hope 🙂

    Martin Logan Shower Cleaning PDF

Vacuum frequently enough would postpone the need for using as surfboard in the shower:) No doubt that particles such as diesel will require more than vacuuming, but from what you indicate you have a fairly particle free and dry environment so I think you'll be fine for years just vacuuming.

    CLX Art To The Wall

My ceiling is low. Very low indeed. Like 230 cm.

    CLX Art To The Wall

I have 133" screen with the speakers a foot from the edges of the screen. Never noticed any issue with reflections from the speakers - more an issue with the whitish ceiling. I also use the sitting room for home cinema so some ambient light still much better than my 65" oled given the big sound...

Three Best Audiophile Moves I Ever Made

I am sure it can fill the room with big sound:) I have an Atmos 5.1.2 setup ML all way round except heights where I have MK. The sound is so big that it takes a cinescope screen 133" (sitting 3-4 m away) otherwise the picture does not do justice to the sound IMO. Wonder if you have a screen...

CLX going the way of the dodo

Of course they have all the old designs somewhere so I guess it depends on how much is manufactured in house. But I can read that many have gotten panel replacement similar to the old ones at about half cost of the speakers. But for the electronic I am sure some components are long discontinued...

CLX going the way of the dodo

In general ML at least used to offer lifetime support so this should not be an issue.

    Center Channel Help

I always wondered. The panels in, at least, the old series, had 20% of the panel overlapping with the cabinet. Can I hear it? No.
