    CLX: power cables

With all the talk of generators storms and power outages I have been thinking about a regenerator for my system. Not that listening to our stereo systems is a priority in times of inclement weather but you never know. I saw Micheal Fremer from Stereophile commenting that he went to emergency...

New amp for my ML CLX Art speakers!

I was actually using PS class D mono amps before the M700’s and enjoyed them. I was intrigued with the M1200‘s power and also class A tube input stage! The sound is fantastic! I was considering the BHK 300’s but they are out if my price range. I got a great deal at the music room on this pre...

    CLX Art To The Wall

I had read somewhere and I’m not sure how accurate it is but I read that one of the reasons for the tilt was to meet european safety standards so they don’t fall forward. I don’t live in Europe and I don’t know if that is true. I have also read that the tilt gives the speaker a larger soundstage...

Sequel Il with Mark Levinson 383 or Krell KAV500 amp?

I used to have a ML 383 and was very pleased with its sound quality and power. It also has a home theater bypass feature for integration into a theater set up If necessary. I don’t know what you use for your current preamp but that should weigh into your decision.

    CLX Art To The Wall

I have my CLX speakers in a 2 channel/HT set up. I had five theater seats in the front row. The size of the CLX made me go to a 3 seat configuration due to the panel blocking the view of the outside seats. Not a big loss for me. I went from 8 seats to 6. As far as glare off projector? There is a...

    CLX Art To The Wall

My last pair of Martin Logan Odyssey speakers were just under 4’ away from the wall. When I moved up to the CLX Art speakers I put them in the same location because I felt that they’d wouldn’t look right and would over power the room. So I moved them out about 5’ from the wall and the difference...

    CLX Anniversary

They are up as tight as I can get them while still leaving a little room to rotate the Gaia with the logo facing forward. Then the thread lock is spun down to lock Gaia in place. I’m not sure what difference the logo being forward does? but I’ll play by the rules.
