IMHO..if you pick up a Theater for $800-$900 you've got yourself a damn good center channel speaker. However, with the Electromotions you may be fine to pair up a Cinema i and be just fine. Dan

I too would like to read some impressions. I have owned a ML Theater and a Theater i, both are outstanding speakers. Being that the esl panel has a much larger surface area and 4 powered woofers, I would expect a dramatic increase in range. Dan

I owned reQuest for sooo long that I fell in love with the big/full panel sound. I would like to get something larger/newer, but the big price tag of the newer lineup...

I owned two sets of reQuest, bought my first set new in 1998. I owned the first set for 14 years. If I had it to do all over again I would have ponied up the $2k for new panels and kept them. They are an incredible speaker for the money. Have never owned CLS, but have listened to quite a few...
