I agree. My choice would be the used 15s. I'm guessing you'd need a beefier amp, but the lower price of the speakers would offset that extra cost, and the end system would be a lot nicer. Those panels are good up to about 20 years if the environment is right, air conditioning and dust not bad.

I'm was using a single BF 210 in a room that's 20 x19 and it was plenty really. I recently added a 2nd sub that's 21 inch because I felt like i needed a little bit more. I think two bf 210 subs would be plenty in my room.

I notice both are class D amps. I know some owners on here use that, but I have no experience. Has anyone had issues using class D with the elctrostats? The M33 does just about double its output going from 8 to 4 ohms. That's great.

I'm curious to see what you think about the sound produced comparing bitstream and PCM out of the new player. I'm thinking that your receiver might do a better job of decoding.

Yeah, it works quite well too and the battery is incredible.

Since you're not using Atmos, you can just leave it in PCM and get everything except Atmos. You can try both ways and compare sound quality. I'm curious to hear which you think sounds better.
