Martin Logan "Vertical Spacers" as an upgrade

I asked directly to ML and here is their answer: Martin Logan uses horizontal spacers in their electrostatic speakers to optimize the performance of our curved panel design, known as the "Curvilinear Line Source" (CLS). Here's why horizontal spacers are preferred: Sound Dispersion: The curved...

Martin Logan "Vertical Spacers" as an upgrade

Dear All, I was up for panel renewal in Germany and I came across a website who offers vertical spacers instead of horizontal ones. Well, the claim is better sound but I wonder if this is the case why does ML use it from the start? Maybe for flat panels it can be good but for curved ones I...

Sound is Lefty, whatever I try... :(:(:(:(

Ahahaha, I also thought so and exactly did many things, like leaving the door open etc... but no change. The picture may not show perfectly but right side of the room expands after the glass so not so symmetrical as it seems. I believe this creates the issue. As said on my post previously, at...

Sound is Lefty, whatever I try... :(:(:(:(

Ttocs' recommendation seemed to work like magic as of yesterday. I moved the right speaker forward, not much but 2 cm and seems like the balance came back to life. I couldn't believe it and made me so happy. I didn't have this issue with conventional speakers but with ml it is there. Now seems...

Sound is Lefty, whatever I try... :(:(:(:(

Dear All, I am a proud owner of Martin Logan Vantages. Somehow, the soundstage is on the Left side of my listening position. I changed speaker cables, RCA connector of source, Power cables to Speakers, then swapped left speaker to right, right to left, tried acoustic panels... everything...

How does Active Martin Logans balance Active Low Frequency section and ELS panel?

Thanks a lot for your time to explain .... I also read that Servo arrangement is available with new ML actives, probably not with my Vantages but .. godd to know. I believe this is similar to Motional Feedback Woofers once used by Philips (545 MFB) and Sony (SA-S1 Hybrid). Then this is great if...

How does Active Martin Logans balance Active Low Frequency section and ELS panel?

Thanks for your reply, I accept that ALL bass is slow... but amplifying once again should make it even slower, creating a lag because ESL is direct from the amp, and low frequency goes through internal amp. I believe there must be a system inside to cover that.. but anyways.. it shounds...

How does Active Martin Logans balance Active Low Frequency section and ELS panel?

Dear All, I am a user of ML Vantage speakers recently. I am wondering any one has an idea how ML processes speaker input? They do not accept Sub Pre-Out so they use speaker input. Which means you input already amplified signal to amplify again, which should increase the distorsion, No? Another...

Sorry for being lazy and not searching the forum before. On the other hand I got my answer, thanks a lot. Absorber it is 😍

Absorber or Diffuser Panel Behind Els speakers?

I plan to place electrostatic speakers to my room. The max distance from the rear wall can be 3.5". What helps the imaging? Absorber or Diffuser? Some say Absorber is the way to go for better imaging, some say it kills the reflection and so the sound stage.... Any experiences?
